Mobility - School Year

We know that a very important part of our AF is mobility. In Hungary the only thing which is checked carefully is whether this plan has been fulfilled or not.
As we are 9 different countries participating in this project, it seems to be challanging to create the mobility plan (Danuta is worrying), so it is important to know about the school year of each country and the times you are happy and ready to invite guests.

  1. A School Year in Hungary
01 September – 15 June (we have 185 school days)

    Holidays (this year and typically):
    23 October – 1 November autumn holiday
    22 December – 2 January winter holiday
9 April – 14 April Easter holiday -flexible
16 June – 1 September summer holiday (for kids)
/because of the administration we teachers finish 2 weeks later and start 2 weeks earlier)
Besides them we have two “a-day off”: public holidays.
We are happy to have guests any time during our school year, but the best one is after Easter holiday, because the weather is usually nicer.
