Comenius Alley

Today I visited a tree nursery to see what kind of tree can be bought here in Jastrzębie Zdrój. It seems that we need to think over what our Comenius Alley will take a shape. I haven't decided so far but can tell you a price for a two-meter tall tree - it's 150PLN = approximately 30-35 euro. Could you check the prices in your countries? By 1 September I will have written a plan of Comenius budget for my Town Hall which is the owner of our school.

Dear Danuta!

I am so sorry to say that our project was not accepted here. There is a rule that you can’t work on a new application form when you are still in a Comenius project. Even if we have finished Slice of bread now I was in that project when we applied for Eden. I don’t know how many times I have been in contact with our National Agency about this during the holiday, because I was really wondering why nothing was happening with the project. They haven’t even confirmed my application so I called them and I just got the answer that the application is invalid because of this rule. I will try again to talk to them after the vacation because I don’t like the way they have handled our application. No confirmation and no official information about invalidity, just this phone call. Right now I am really sad about everything. We worked so hard on Eden and it’s a good project and I want that Torskolan should be there too!

Hi Everyone!
INFO: Just being accepted by our National Agencies and still enjoying our holidays, we, Danuta and Ivana, met in Poland to prepare the October Coordinators' meeting. Here are a few of our proposals:

CRACOW COORDINATORS’ MEETING

What should all coordinators bring or prepare to Cracow, October 2009
• Dates of all school and public holidays to agree on exact dates of project meetings
• Info about possible accommodation for teachers during project meetings, including price per a person/night.
• The nearest place with an airport, how far it is from your school town, whether you are able to arrange transport for a group or not.
• Be ready to state an exact number of students and teachers coming for meetings in each country. Take into account that because of making your travel costs lower, we arranged Polish + Czech meetings in one week. It means, after arriving to Poland and spending three days there, all participants will move to Czech Republic by bus and spend next three days there. Swedish, Hungarian and Romanian students will host both Polish and Czech students during meetings in their countries. DO YOU AGREE WITH THIS IDEA?
• Check possibilities of buying trees in your area as planting them is an obligatory part of each meeting. Please, give a list of trees to coordinators from partner schools so they have enough time to choose a proper tree in advance and you can book them . Do not forget to check with your local authorities the best place for planting Comenius trees.

The Fourth

Four out of six countries have been approved so far. We are going to create Virtual EDEN in our first year of carring out the Comenius project so we need to take a lot of photos during summer holidays.

Wyniki selekcji dla Projektów Wielostronnych, Edycja 2009
Szanowni Państwo,

dziękujemy wszystkim szkołom, które złożyły wnioski w ramach programu Comenius - Partnerskie Projekty Szkół w edycji 2009.

Z przyjemnością informujemy, że zakończył się proces selekcyjny dla projektów wielostronnych.


Proces selekcyjny składał się z dwóch etapów:

I etap - ocena formalna wniosków, dokonana przez pracowników Narodowej Agencji. Wnioski spełniające kryteria formalne zostały dopuszczone do II etapu;

II etap – ocena merytoryczna- każdy projekt został oceniony w kraju koordynatora przez dwóch niezależnych ekspertów zewnętrznych. W wyniku oceny ekspertów Komisja Europejska utworzyła listę rankingową projektów, które następnie zostały zarekomendowane przez Narodowy Komitet Ewaluacyjny oraz zaakceptowane przez Zarząd Fundacji Rozwoju Systemu Edukacji.

W tym roku Komisja Europejska ustanowiła nowe zasady przydzielania budżetu na realizację Wielostronnych Partnerskich Projektów Szkół. Część funduszy programu Comenius z każdego kraju została przydzielona do ogólnej puli europejskiej, a następnie podzielona dla krajów posiadających dużą liczbę wysoko ocenionych projektów. Z tego względu Polska, będąca drugim co do liczby wniosków krajem w Europie, otrzymała początkowo 6 233 858,00 Euro na projekty wielostronne, a w wyniku przydzielenia dodatkowych środków kwota ta zwiększyła się do 8 138 000,00 Euro.

W dniu 8 lipca 2009r. Narodowa Agencja podjęła pozytywne decyzje selekcyjne z uwzględnieniem dodatkowych funduszy, jednakże z zastrzeżeniem, że umowy z Beneficjentami będą podpisywane dopiero po podpisaniu stosownego Aneksu do Umowy pomiędzy Komisją Europejską a Narodową Agencją – dotyczącego przyznaniu Polsce zapowiadanej kwoty dodatkowych funduszy na realizację Wielostronnych Partnerskich Projektów Szkół Comenius.

Projekt mógł otrzymać status:
- "Zaakceptowany”- wniosek został zaakceptowany do dofinansowania, po podpisaniu aneksu KE- NA


- "Lista rezerwowa” - wniosek został zaakceptowany merytorycznie, ale znajduje się na liście rezerwowej do dofinansowania.


Projekt z listy rezerwowej uzyska dofinansowanie w przypadku pozyskania przez Program Comenius dodatkowych funduszy bądź rezygnacji którejś ze szkół o statusie "Zaakceptowany”. Szkoła o zmianie statusu zostanie natychmiast poinformowana przez pracowników NA telefonicznie oraz drogą elektroniczną.


- "Odrzucony" - projekt nie będzie realizowany.

Możliwe powody odrzucenia projektu:

-formalnie
-merytorycznie
-niewystarczająca liczba zaakceptowanych partnerów (minimum trzech w przypadku projektów wielostronnych) -niewystarczająca liczba krajów (minimum trzy w przypadku projektów wielostronnych)
-brak środków finansowych
-brak koordynatora projektu


Każda ze szkół zostanie poinformowana o wyniku selekcji w oficjalnym piśmie przesłanym pocztą tradycyjną.
W przypadku odrzucenia projektu szczegółowe informacje powodu odrzucenia zostaną wyjaśnione w piśmie.
