“Tylko dla dorosłych” is the new album by the Polish rap star Adam Ostrowski. Adam is a talented singer who is popular with teens in Poland. He has a great voice, powerful music and true stories about the world. The most popular songs from the album so far  is “Klucz do zagadki. This album is fantastic. All the songs tell about the human life. The album is sure to be at the top of music rap charts in Poland.

Patrycja Markowska

‘Patrycja Markowska’ is an album by the Polish pop star Patrycja Markowska. Patrycja is a talented, singer. She has a great voice, powerful music and exciting lyrics. The most popular song from the album so far is ‘Hallo, Hallo’. This fantastic album is full of catchy tunes. It includes three songs in Polish as well as an excellent ballad ‘Księżycowy’.

The album is sure to be at the top of the music charts for month!

Biology lessons in Dub - reports finished

After a long time without a biology teacher , our school finally finished the reports necessary for our final joint product - a scientific report. All the photos that were taken during the long months of working on this task are interesting, showing the life in our school. The photos of microscopic findings in water samples look very attractive, being taken thanks to our new electric microscope.
As a result of working on this project task our school has gained not only new equipment for chemical and biological testing, but mainly students were enriched with new experience and spent funny time while learning new things.

Science report

Young Demosthenes - rhetoric competition in Dub nad Moravou

Young Demosthenes is a popular rhetoric competition for students here in the Czech Republic. It starts at a school level and its winners take part in regional levels. In Dub nad Moravou school it has become a regular December event. Year by year, the number of participating students is higher. The choice of verbal means , gesticulation and other non - verbal means, fluency, contact with audiance - these are the most important things assessed at the speakers.
The winner if a lower category _ grade 6. and 7. was Filip Konečný. His speech was very attractive as he told the audiance about his favourite animals - guinea pigs.
Radka Lajčíková, the winner of category for 8th and 9th grade, had a speech about her week day morning. It was very funny and interesting.
Although they did not win at a regional competition in January in Olomouc, we are happy that Young Demosthenes is such a popular competition in our school.

DEMOSTHENES

The deadline -21 February

Although 21 February is the deadline for a submission  of a new Comenius project, six schools finished completing their Application Form on 15 February. The form was submitted online on 2011-02-15 17:41:26. All Partners from Sweden, Hungary, Italy, Germany and Romania were assisting the Polish coordinator  while she pressed the button 'submit'. Now we need to wait till July to find out if we are accepted or no.

Environment

We collect the garbage selectively with my family. We don't make the tap leak unneccessairly. We plant plants into the garden. We don't spread litter in the environment. My brother goes to his school by bicycle and I go on foot. As there are a lot of birds, we build birdhouse for them. I turn off the light in the room where I do not stay. Every little thing can help a lot for the environment.

Royal Competition

In celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s 85th birthday, Look and Learn is holding an international children’s competition to paint her portrait.

A Royal Visit

Bronisław Komorowski, the President of Poland, invited His Royal Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf and Her Royal Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden to pay an official state visit to Poland on 4th-6th May 2011.

The royal couple will be accompanied by representatives of the government of the Kingdom of Sweden and a Swedish business delegation.
